Built Outcomes
Andy Fergus is an urban designer and design advocate, leading his own practice Andy Fergus Design Strategy, alongside his roles as a committee member for the Urban Design Forum and advisory committee member for Architecture Australia. Andy’s cross-disciplinary practices cuts across planning, urban design and architecture – operating at all scales of the city from the urban plan to the individual building. His work is informed by the relationship between urban economics, planning frameworks and spatial design, having worked within government, the development sector, non-profit and design consultancy roles. Andy’s projects emphasise the role of prototypes to inspire positive change, and improve the standards of the basic building blocks that collectively shape our urban environment through design-led urban policy.
